NATIVE ALASKA
This map will shows the breakdown of Native peoples within the State of Alaska.  There are two types of Native groups in Alaska - the Eskimos and the Indians.  The Eskimos live along the coastline, while the Indians reside in the Interior regions.

The Inupiat Eskimos are known for their whaling, the Yup'ik and Aleut for fishing and basket-weaving.  The Athabaskan Indians are known for their ornate beadwork and the Tlingit for their totem pole carvings.  Each group is unique, with different language and cultural beliefs.
