1. So, do you like the cold???
We do not mind the cold, and you will be surprised how your body acclimates over time. Dressing for the cold is also important.
2. Are you planning on having more children?
We would LOVE to have more children, but so far, Abby has been the only child God has given us. We are praying for more, and if the Lord would have us to, we are also open to adopting Native children once we get to Alaska.
3. Won't it be difficult to deal with the 6 months of darkness and 6 months of daylight in Alaska?
Actually, it is 84 days of total darkness and total daylight per year - and that is in Barrow, which is in the Far North regio In the Southwest, we should still get about 4 hours of daylight in the darkest winter months, and 4 hours of night in the summer.
Naturally, it will still be quite an adjustment from what we are used to, but again, by God's grace, we will learn to adjust.
