ABOUT DILLINGHAM
Dillingham is located in the Bristol Bay Region of Southwestern Alaska (about 350 miles by air from Anchorage).  We have approximately 2,500 neighbors here, with the community nearly doubling in size during the summer fishing months.

The fishing and canning industry is one of the primary economic thrusts for Dillingham, as well as the surrounding communities.
We also have another village that is connected to us by road called Aleknagik (population 200).  The north side of the village is only accessible by boat or snow machine, but there are plans for a bridge to be built in the future.
